The Naughtiest Girl : Saves The Day by Enid Blyton
Elizabeth, the naughtiest girl, gets into trouble when a buckle of her shoe is found at a crime scene of wrecked strawberry plants. The following night, someone falsely exclaims 'Fire!' and she rings the fire bell hastily. But she is blamed for silly, notorious tricks as there was actually no fire anywhere. And now, if Elizabeth fails to prove her innocence, she is very close to losing her part in the school play that she had already fought hard for. Hence she remains unruffled when someone reports a fire again, except this time, there really is one! Will she get into trouble again for not ringing the bell in time? Will she lose her part in the play after all?
